2. Service Satisfaction

We strive to provide exceptional service every time. If you are not completely satisfied with the service you received, please contact us immediately so we can address your concerns.

For services such as key duplication, lock installation, or repairs, we offer the following satisfaction guarantees:

  • Key duplication: Keys will be tested before being provided to customers
  • Lock installation: Proper functioning will be verified before completion
  • Lock repairs: Performance will be tested before service is considered complete

3. Service Warranty

Our services come with the following warranty periods:

Note: Warranty coverage is limited to issues directly related to our workmanship and does not cover damage due to misuse, accidents, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized modifications.

4. Defective Products

If a product we provide (such as a key or lock) proves to be defective within the warranty period, we offer the following remedies:

  • Replacement of the defective product
  • Re-performance of the service
  • Refund of the product portion of your payment

To qualify for a replacement or refund for defective products:

  • The defect must be reported within the warranty period
  • The product must not show signs of misuse, alteration, or damage beyond the reported defect
  • Original receipt or proof of purchase must be provided

5. Refund Process

If you are eligible for a refund, the refund process works as follows:

  1. Contact us to request a refund, explaining the issue in detail
  2. Our service team may inspect the work to verify the claim
  3. If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
  4. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original transaction

For credit/debit card payments, please allow an additional 2-5 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution's processing times.

6. Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy for scheduled services is as follows:

  • More than 24 hours notice: Full refund of any deposits paid
  • Less than 24 hours notice: 75% refund of deposits paid
  • No show/cancellation after technician dispatch: No refund of deposit and minimum call-out fee may apply

For emergency services, cancellation fees may apply once a technician has been dispatched.

7. Non-Refundable Services

The following services and situations are generally not eligible for refunds:

  • Emergency callout fees once service has been provided
  • Services where the customer provided incorrect information about the lock or key type
  • After-hours service premium charges
  • Services declined by customer after technician arrival due to price or other factors

8. Australian Consumer Law

Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures with the service, you are entitled:

  • To cancel your service contract with us; and
  • To a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value

You are also entitled to be compensated for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. If the failure does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.
